Parkview  provides a unique study program that combines digital and classroom instruction with independent study. It can meet the needs of K-12 students who are  student actors, junior athletes, chronically ill, GATE, homeschoolers, or in various other situations for which an alternative to traditional instruction is desirable.

Parkview School is a program designed for families where the parent takes a significant lead in directly guiding the education of their own children. Students are offered opportunities such as classes, field trips, park days, annual testing, and other special events.  Because Parkview is a district school, students can access classes and programs based at their local school such as instrumental and vocal music, art, computer labs, assemblies, physical education activities, and many others. Parents also receive services including a monthly training workshops, curriculum materials, networking opportunities, a monthly newsletter, and the support of an experienced credentialed teacher (a highly trained and certificated PYLUSD staff member).

The purpose of Parkview School is to provide quality learning by creating a partnership between parents, students, and teachers by offering a sound curriculum that mirrors the instructional program of the school district. Many families have already discovered Parkview to be an outstanding and encouraging place to educate their children.
