ELEMENTARY STUDENTS K-5
Academic Day: Academic Days are combined social studies and science workshops for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Students meet once a week for nine weeks in the first semester and again in the second semester. These workshops enhance what the student is learning at home. New 2010-2011 Step Up to Writing and IEW integration!
Meet the Masters: Art Class is held the third Friday of the Parkview month and covers various artists and art periods.
Performing Arts: During fall semester Pee Wee Glee and Tone Chimes Class is offered. Students perform at the December talent show.
During spring semester students wishing to participate in the musical will audition for parts (optional) and start practice. Practice is usually twice a week and may require some additional practice on weekends or evenings.
Elective Wheel K-5: A wide range of topics are offered the first Friday of the month including crafts, cooking, academics, music, centers, and more.
Classical Study Group: Study groups meet weekly to master select topics in a friendly competitive manner. TBA
Chess: Learn to play chess and challenge your classmates! Offered the 2nd and 4th Friday of the Parkview month.
TTR/Reading Lab: Join us for reading, reading, and more reading. Offered the 2nd and 4th Friday of the Parkview month.
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL
Media and Technology: Students use the Visual Communicator green screen program to make presentations. Students become familiar with digital learning tools. Offered the 2nd and 4th Friday of the Parkview month.
Leadership: Leadership is offered to 5th grade students and above, and meets approximately twice a month. Offered the 1st and 3rd Friday of the Parkview month. Students attend local CASL conferences.
Math Tutoring:Math tutoring and Key Math Standards classes are available for students taking Pre-Algebra and above at our sister campus at the new Yorba Linda High School.

High School Writing Workshop: Master the different writing genres using Step Up to Writing and IEW techniques. Offered Friday of week 2 and 4.
High School Wet Labs: All high school students enrolled in either Chemistry or Biology at Parkview are required to attend wet labs. Offered Friday of week 1 and 3.

Vendors
Discovery Science – Held weekly on Friday from Noon to 1:00 pm and is fee based. Discovery Science is a hands on science workshop designed for students Kindergarten through 6th grade. Some projects will take multiple weeks to build and test. Discovery Science flyers are available in the office.
